Once plugged in, the connection is rated IP55 against dust and water jets, so rain, dust, and splashes will not stop a charge. The cable is made to live in a garage or a driveway and keep working through the seasons.
### Safe, Durable Construction.
Built with a UL94V-0 flame-retardant thermoplastic housing and silver-plated copper alloy conductors, the cable keeps contact impedance to 0.5 mΩ max and insulation resistance over 100 MΩ. It is rated for more than 10,000 no-load plugging cycles, works from −30°C to +50°C, and runs at 240VAC — made to be plugged in and unplugged every day.
